Senior Campaign Coordinators

Luke Scuitto

My name is Luke Scuitto, and I am a senior from Los Angeles, California majoring in International Affairs with a minor in History. At GW, I have been a member of the Residence Hall Association (Vice President in both Fulbright and Lafayette Halls), and have been an avid student member of Development and Alumni Relations department at GW for the entirety of my collegiate experience as a student caller and supervisor. I have had the opportunity to intern for the DC Center for the LGBT Community and Masjid Muhammad. This Summer, I traveled to China with the Confucius Institute at GW for a two week summer tour and language immersion experience. In my free time, I love to travel, explore new restaurants/food venues with friends, and enjoy/connect with DC! I am so excited to begin senior year as a co-Coordinator and to have a wonderful campaign. Raise High!

Class of 2018 Committee Members

Kira Sommer

Kira Sommer

Originally from Kalispell, Montana, Kira Sommer majors in Journalism and Mass Communications along with Film Studies. She ultimately chose to be a part of the campaign because she is so grateful for the amazing student organizations I am involved in on campus that have helped me feel at home at GW and I wanted to give back to those organizations in some way before I graduate. Since Kira has been on campus she has run into Bill Nye the Science Guy on a multitude of ocassions! If you see Kira on campus, do not hesitate to ask her about the campaign!

So far, one of his favorite collegiate experiences was having the opportunity to study abroad in Sydney, Australia. He joined the campaign committee as a way to connect with GW during his senior year and make a wonderful impact along with meeting more wonderful seniors! If Zhengxu could travel anywhere without worrying about the cost, he would travel to the moon because it would be a once in a lifetime experience. If Zhengxu could eat a meal with one person, he would Taylor Swift in order to catch up on all the latest gossip with her.

Sharon Yoon

Originally from Syosset, New York, Sharon is in the Elliott School majoring in International Affairs with a minor in Music. Sharon decided to join the Senior Class Campaign because she wanted to take this final chance to be involved with the graduating class at GW! Overall, Sharon is eager and excited to make this year one of her best! If you ever see her on campus, feel free to say hi and ask her more about the campaign!

Emi Grill

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Emi Grill is in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences studying Biology. She chose to join the committee because she wanted to help people see what it means to be able to make a gift to a part of the university that has been meaningful to their experience here and why they have a unique opportunity to do that as seniors. If Emi could travel anywhere, she would love to go to Spain, it seems like it has the kind of culture and history she can feel just by being there. Say to Emi if you see her around campus, and ask her about the campaign!
